ScreenTalk: Annie Collins on cutting films (+video)

anniecollinsI thought this might be of use to the Electronic Arts students, as well as those in Design interested in Film and Video (Thanks to the great tutelage of Jon Wilson). (Note that Annie Collins trained originally in Design before becoming a film editor…). I really love the Big Idea Website and their ability to bring New Zealand stories from across the creative arts together in one easy navigable website! Excellent.

Editor Annie Collins has worked with some of New Zealand’s most provocative directors, including Barry Barclay (The Neglected Miracle), and Merata Mita (Patu!) during a 30 year editing career. Collins has also edited key feature films, (Scarfies, Ruby & Rata, Out of the Blue) and was part of the editing team on Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings.
