Creative Review – Trainspotting’s film poster campaign, 15 years on

This is a really nice read of how the photography for the poster developed through the ideas of the photographer and film team. It shows some of the really cool initial photographs and discusses why they did/didn’t work and how that moved them on to the next ideas. Includes test shots with stand-in models and discussion of relevant inspiration and research such as Richard Avedon and the campaign photographer of the film ‘The Usual Suspects’.
