Adrian Searle writes a review for the guardian on the finalists in the Deutsche Börse photography prize, currently on show at The Photographers’ Gallery in London. Finalists are Pieter Hugo, Rinko Kawauchi, John Stezaker and Christopher Williams. I don’t know Williams’ work but I’m very aware of the other three and they do seem like like slightly odd and banal choices to me. In fact, I pretty much agree with Searle’s review – read it via the link below.
